Ayse Alpaslan Zelley (pronounced Eye-sheh)
CERTIFIED IMAGO CLINICAL THERAPIST & POLYVAGAL INFORMED THERAPIST
MA, MFT-R
Ayse (eye-sheh) is a Marriage and Family Therapy-Resident dedicated to helping individuals and couples deepen self-understanding, heal relational wounds, and cultivate meaningful connection and reclaim their essence. Her work supports clients who feel stuck in painful patterns or long for more safety, intimacy, and authenticity in their relationships.
She approaches therapy as a collaborative, client centered and compassionate process that honors the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. She holds and creates a safe, supportive space where clients can deepen self-awareness, heal old patterns, and strengthen their capacity for authentic connection. Drawing from Imago Relationship Clinical Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, mindfulness, and somatic-energy-based approaches, Ayse offers a warm, trauma-informed, and integrative space where healing can unfold at the levels of mind, body, and spirit.
Ayse holds a Master’s degree in Counseling, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Daybreak University in California. She is a Certified Imago Relationship Clinical Therapist, trained workshop presenter for Getting the Love You Want, and a Polyvagal-informed practitioner. In addition, Ayse is an ICF-accredited Professional Coach and Certified SYMBIS Facilitator, an award-winning program for premarital and marital enrichment.
She honors the uniqueness and complexity of each person’s story with warmth, curiosity, and respect, and welcomes clients of all identities, cultures, and backgrounds to engage in their own process of healing and growth. It’s a privilege to accompany each client on this journey with empathy, integrity, and professionalism. She is fluent in Turkish and English.
Ayse (eye-sheh) is working under the supervision of Dona Paknejad.
